Here are some Tips
& Tricks that will help you wash your vehicle properly!
Wash vehicle in cool conditions, avoid
direct sunlight.
WASH your vehicles in a cool shaded area (helps prevent
rapid dry while washing) Spray your vehicle thoroughly with water, use
a soft brush or sponge to loosen the surface dirt.
Wash your vehicle in sequence.
Wash uppermost parts first, then the windscreen, side panels, front and
rear, sills (under door panels) then wheels & tyres. You inadvertently
contribute to a film build-up on your windscreen by washing your windscreen
after you have just cleaned your wheels and tyres, your brush , sponge or rag
spreads these pollutants. Bug strike/kamikaze splatters all contribute.
EZEWASH EZESHINE can break these pollutants down.
Rinse thoroughly before allowing to dry.
A quick drive around the block will assist excess water to run-off, don’t
forget to wipe-off any excess water when you return, this would be most
noticeable around the wheels.
Water-spots.
These are normally caused by tap water or chemicals evaporating and leaving
rings, for best results use filtered water
Water spots are predominately chemicals i.e. iron, lime
chlorine evaporating and leaving rings or marks if not dried off (tap
water, is the main culprit) after washing or merely hosing over. These
chemicals build-up to an unsightly and potentially dangerous film over
your vehicles surface (glass, mirrors, chrome, paint)
For best results, deionised water is preferred to tap
water even if only used in windscreen washers.
Rainwater is OK unless you are in a heavy industrial atmosphere
(this is often referred to as acid rain).
More Tips:
Dry all glass (including mirrors) and horizontal surfaces
to avoid water spotting.
Light - coloured lint - free towel are best to dry
off cars. Just glide over. Do not apply pressure. Use this only to dry
exterior. Wipe out door jambs, other dirty areas after drying glass paintwork
etc. Wash in hot soapy water and dry (so it's clean for next time.)
A quick drive around the block assists excess water to run-off
and centrifugal force dries off wheel and tyres "A blow dry"
I call this.
Wipe off any excess water when you return, particularly
around wheels and any missed bits will wipe off easily as they are still
SOFT.
A quick and safe rejuvenation to a lightly dusty car is
to dilute EZEWASH EZESHINE, as normal a clean towel dipped
in solution, wring out slightly and lightly glide over surface, use another
clean dry towel, lightly dry over to enhance shine.
